Kobachi, 小鉢, are small bowls used to complete the place setting and beautifully serve complementary dishes, sides or snacks. Hanami, the Japanese spring, is a word made up of two kanji ideograms: hana 花, meaning flowers, and miru 見, contemplate. Celebrating the most exciting time of the year, these bowls are shaped as ume (plum) flours.
