hanami yunomi

As a more informal tea cup, yunomi, 湯のみ, has seen uncountable twists through time. Hanami, the Japanese spring, is a word made up of two kanji ideograms: hana 花, meaning flowers, and miru 見, contemplate. Celebrating the most exciting time of the year, these tumblers are shaped as ume (plum) flours.
